1. Using WanderTap

Eligibility

• You must be at least 13 years old to use WanderTap
• You must provide accurate account information
• You are responsible for maintaining account security

Acceptable Use

You agree to:

• Use WanderTap only for lawful purposes
• Provide accurate expense and trip information
• Respect other users' privacy and data

You must not:

• Attempt to access other users' accounts without permission
• Use WanderTap to harass, harm, or defraud others
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
• Use automated tools to scrape or abuse the service

2. Your Content

You retain ownership of the trip and expense data you create. By using WanderTap, you grant us a limited license to store and process your data to provide the service.

You are responsible for the accuracy of expense information you enter. WanderTap is a tool for splitting — we do not verify, validate, or guarantee the accuracy of any expense or settlement data.

3. Payments & Settlements

WanderTap helps you track and calculate expense splits. We do not process, hold, or transfer any money. All actual payments between users happen outside of WanderTap.

We are not responsible for any disputes between users regarding actual payments or settlements.

4. Privacy

Your use of WanderTap is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms.

5. Intellectual Property

WanderTap and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by WanderTap and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

6. Disclaimers

WanderTap is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the app will be error-free or uninterrupted. Use at your own risk.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, WanderTap shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to financial losses arising from expense calculation errors.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from within the app.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or via email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes will be resolved through good-faith negotiation first. If unresolved, disputes will be submitted to binding arbitration.
